This workshop is suitable for all former Waterside students (+) who have completed .

Friday Nov 29th from 6:30pm-8:30pm - spots available
Sunday Mar 30th 2025 from 10:00am - 12:00pm - spots available
Friday Apr 4th 2025 from 6:30pm-8:30pm - spots available

No previous experience required. Students will learn how to manage a coke fired forge and undertake a simple forging exercise using hammer and anvil with a focus on some fundamental blacksmithing techniques. The intro serves as an excellent taster before enrolling in a Module 1 course.

Minimum age for students is 12 and under 15’s need to be accompanied by an adult, also enrolled in the class.
