Some of the information we collect (such as feedback forms) is for the purpose of improving our interaction with customers and improving their experience.

Primarily we use your personal information to complete and administer your course or experience booking.

CUSTOMERS REVIEWS

We may use your contact information to send you a short questionnaire about your experience. This helps us understand and improve our service.

MARKETING ACTIVITIES

We also use your personal information for marketing activities, as permitted by law. For example: We may use it to contact you by telephone, email or SMS with information on our latest news, offers and updates, including details of our services, special offers, discounts or promotions, new products or services, and forthcoming events or competitions. You consent to this if you click the checkbox during the booking process. You can also opt out at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” in the email.

INFORMATION

We may also collect and use certain especially sensitive personal information about you, namely specific details of any relevant health conditions, disabilities, access requirements and special dietary requirements that you may have. We collect this information directly from you to try to ensure that any experience/course and the associated supervision is appropriate for your needs and to benefit your safety.

By law it is required that we obtain your consent to the collection of ‘sensitive information’ and unless you tell us otherwise, we accept that you have agreed to the collection of all information that is provided to us for use in agreement with this policy.

Please be aware there may also be instances when we obtain information about you from a third party, for example from a friend booking an experience/class on your behalf. Customers who provide personal information about a third party individual need to ensure that those persons are aware of this privacy policy, understand it and agree to accept it. If that individual does not have the capacity to understand and agree to these terms, Waterside requires a parent or guardian to give the assurances set out in this paragraph.

SERVICE SUPPLIERS

When a booking requires it, we may also work with third-party payment service suppliers to facilitate payment. We also work with third-party advertisement networks to market services on other platforms and involve third-party suppliers for analytical purposes. As with all information, Waterside will never rent or sell your personal information.

SSL CERTIFICATE 

FOR PAYMENTS

We use industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology which encrypts the payment information you enter via our website. This prevents other computers impersonating your computer and prevents third parties reading or changing your information as it travels over the internet. Credit Card details are NOT stored on our database when you book via our website. If you are unhappy about entering your payment information online, then you are more than welcome to contact us directly.

When you visit our website, we may collect certain information, even if you don’t book an experience with us. We will collect certain technical information about you when you visit our website. If you have signed up to our mailing list and would like to unsubscribe, simply email us at info@watersidemetal.art with “Unsubscribe” in the subject area, and you will be removed immediately.

By joining our newsletter mailing list you acknowledge that the information you provide will be transferred to a third party software for the purpose of processing.

PHOTOGRAPHS, VIDEO &

TESTIMONIALS

Feedback supplied to Waterside may also be used in print and online for marketing and advertising purposes. This includes but not limited to, third party review sites and questionnaires supplied to us after visiting the studio.

 

Any images or video taken by Waterside during a customer visit may be later utilised for marketing purposes. Additionally, any photographs, video and text sent to Waterside must be the customers own.

SOCIAL MEDIA

If you make use of Watersides social media features, either on our website, an app or otherwise through a social media provider, we may access information about you via that social media provider in accordance with their policies. When using a social media feature and if you have chosen to include it in your social media account, we may access information such as your name, profile picture, gender, birthday, email address, town or district and any other information you have chosen to make available. Depending on the privacy settings of you and your friends, we may access information that you provide to a social media provider regarding your respective locations (“Location Data”) to provide you with relevant content.
