Yesterday, under the cover of darkness, the crew of the Belgian "Nachtsmidts" (Patrick Pelgroms, Philip Vervoort, Raf Nulens and Klaas Remmen) flew into Melbourne. The solution to their jet lag was a hard day of work at Waterside followed by a few beers, some forge fire dancing and a nutritious meal at a Vietnamese Soup Kitchen in Footscray. They will now spend the next few days preparing for a Siberian Axe Making Masterclass, where they will reveal the secrets of "Basov" to 10 Australian blacksmiths at Waterside next week (Tue-Thurs). We are honored to once again have these generous, funloving and talented guys back in the studio. If you are interested in meeting these great men come along to the Waterside Blacksmithing & Metal Art Festival next weekend.
